The lesson, as always, is to leave no stone unturned when you're junking. I found this gem of a typewriter ribbon container in one of the many nooks and crannies of a Pittsburgh-area shop. The typography is one thing:
But the reverse - wow - let's just say there's so much to love. The color. The simplicity. The hound. The pipe! Learn from this, people, learn from this:
