When I said I was having a blast taking part in the ongoing BCS-NCZ layer brawl, I wasn't kidding. Six, hard-fought rounds in the books and we're still going strong, still cranking out solid executions. I took it in a different direction with my manicule humor and Kris gladly took the ball and ran with it - a volley to which I was ready to return, and return with some more type-related inside jokes. His effort on the left, mine on the right:
I love what Kris did here, bringing black back into the picture, while keeping the manicule there and putting his spin on the old poster. So I decided to keep hands as the motif, turn a manicule into an apostrophe and use that awesome image of the printing press. It didn't take Kris long at all to fire back, as seen at the left below (mine on the right):
Thanks for keeping us on message, Kris. I love the introduction of the equal sign, and the red/black/tan color scheme. I then sought to approach his message from another angle, reminding those hard-working folks out there that your salary is most certainly not a reflection on your worth as a person, especially given the state of our working world. These days, you've got big-earning fat-cats quite often bringing nothing to the table, while those in the trenches, busting their asses, can't scrape together enough to feed their families. It's time that change, and we honor those who built this country. Your serve, Kris.
