Here at NCZ HQ, we love calendars. For instance, at my workstation alone, I've got three of them hanging up. And 2010 promises to be no different - with some very, very exciting details on one such calendar to come quite soon. Until then, though, get a load of this baby, a new arrival hot from Field Notes headquarters and designed, as always, by Aaron at the DDC. We promptly hung it up and Casey was there to document the scene:
The fine print: At 8" x 12", it's bigger than last year's model. And on 60 pt chipboard, it's thicker, too. What's more, it comes fully loaded with 18 months (the last three from this year, plus all of 2010 and the first four from the year after) for all of your record-keeping needs. You won't want to miss the back, either, with it's greatly expanded "Real Big Days" section. Some of our favorites:
March 10 - Canadian Music Week Begins (Toronto, Canada)
April 24 - National "Go Birding" Day
October 2 - National Custodial Workers Day
November 24 - On the Origin of Species Published (1859)
December 16 - Philip K. Dick, author (b. 1928)
You'll have to throw the glasses on to read the production notes at the bottom - amazing print job by Vision Integrated Graphics, by the way - but it's well worth it. American made, and nicely so. Get out there and order yourself one of these. You don't know how bad you need it.
